QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION
Revive Us (personally)
Verse 25 My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word.
What is our first reaction when times are hard and we feel beaten down by life?
Do we go first to God when times are hard?
How has God helped us in tough times in the past?
Do we ask Jesus to revive us by filling us with his spirit?
Revival (for all and society)
Verse 37 Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way.
If we want to be revived what worthless things might we need to turn away from?
What things do we look at/ are involved in that might distract us from following Jesus?
How could we be more focussed on God in our daily lives?
Revive to Survive (revival is not an optional extra)
Verse 40 Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness.
What do we long for/yearn for?
What are the most important things we should long/yearn for?
Do we long for people we know to come to faith in Jesus?
How do we/can we help others to come to trust God more in our daily lives?
Prayer:
Ask God to revive you
