Children’s at St. John’s
Children and families are an important part of our church community. We are committed to supporting parents and carers in bringing up their children to know God as well as providing safe and welcoming places for all children & families to hear about Jesus for the first time.
You can find out more about what we have coming up and all of our regular groups and activities below.
If you want to talk about any of our children’s activities or your child has needs that may require specific care or support, please get in touch to discuss these with our Children’s Worker – firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are committed to the safety of children and young people and have adopted the dioceses of Southwark’s safeguarding policy. Our activities are run by volunteers who have completed an application process that includes an enhanced DBS Check and safeguarding training.
Sunday Morning Services
Our services begin with 20 minutes of all age worship with everybody in the main church building. After this, children go to their groups to learn from Bible in an age appropriate way, build friendships and have fun. Once a month we have an all age service where everyone stays together for the duration of the service. We plan these services to be fun and engaging for everyone – no matter your age.
Whether you are a regular church goer or just interested to find out more, you are welcome to join us for our morning services and children’s groups at 9:15am or 11:15am. Just turn up or contact Hannah (email@example.com) if you would like to discuss joining us on a Sunday morning.
Have fun, make friends and learn about Jesus in our mid-week groups.
