Starter: What do you tend to pray for?

Read Ephesians 3:14-21

  1. Who does Paul pray to? (see verses 14-15)
  2. What strikes you about what Paul prays for believers? (see verses 16-19)
  3. What does it mean for Christ to dwell in your heart through faith? (verse 17)
  4. Why does Paul add “together with all the Lord’s holy people” in verse 18?
  5. How does this compare with what you usually pray for others?
  6. From verses 20-21, where is God’s power at work and where is God’s glory to be shown? How does that affect you?
  7. Why do you think Paul ends the first section of his letter with this prayer?
