QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION
In what ways, in general, are you most motivated by what other people think of you in everyday life?
Think of specific situations where you’re tempted to be motivated more by what people think of you than what God thinks of you.
What can you do to help yourselves be more motivated by what God thinks of you? How can Rev 3:1-6 help you? What else helps or doesn’t help? Consider a) at home b) in Christian community.
PRAYER
Praise God that he sees you as righteous because you are in Christ.
Pray that we would be more caught up with the Lord’s ‘opinion’ of us than with others’ opinions.
