- What was amazing about Jesus’s teaching? In what way does this point to who he was?
- Why did Jesus heal people and do other miracles? How did Jesus perform these miracles in the passage, what exactly did he do? What do these things show us about Jesus?

- What reason does Jesus give for being sent? How does this change our response to him?
- How can we help other people to be amazed by Jesus, to comprehend who he is and to commit to him?
Prayer
- Pray that you and all members of St John’s would be able to grasp how amazing Jesus is
(e.g. that you would not be so familiar with the Gospels that you take Jesus for granted)
and that would thus respond more appropriately to him. - Pray that the Holy Spirit would aid you and all members of St John’s in comprehending
more about Jesus and especially understanding who he is. - Pray that we would all be committed to Jesus and demonstrate this commitment in our
day to day lives. Pray especially that we would submit to his authority and listen to his words. - Pray that you personally, your small group and all in St John’s would be able to help
others to be amazed by Jesus, to comprehend who he is and to commit to him.
