Dear brothers and sisters,
‘The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.’ Nahum 1:7
I pray that these weekly updates are an encouragement to you in these troublesome days. It appears we all face a difficult winter and I pray that you will know that the Lord is good, he cares for you and he is trustworthy. For he ‘showed his love among us: he sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.‘ (1 John 1.9). Many of us may be feeling that life is hard and without hope, the wonderful, good news of the gospel is that God loves us knowing every aspect of our weakness. Indeed, he demonstrated his love by sending his only Son to save us – what a sure hope we have in him!
SUNDAY All Age with HARVEST THANKSGIVING This Sunday we will be giving thanks to God for his abundant goodness to us. We will be highlighting the work of London City Mission supporting the homeless shelter at Webber Street. Normally we encourage people to bring gifts of food to the front of church but for obvious reasons that is simply not practicable this year. We have been in touch with LCM and they would find it easiest to receive financial donations, click on the link to go to our dedicated donations page:

SUNDAY evening Communion service 6pm
This week we are looking at James 3:13-18 ‘Who is wise?’
