Dear church family,
This Sunday is the beginning of Advent! Yes the evenings are getting darker earlier, which is harder for many of us, but Advent reminds us the waiting won’t last forever. Jesus Christ, who came that first Christmas, is “the light [that] shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). Maybe this week, when we see the darkness outside, it can remind us Jesus will come again, encouraging us to wait patiently by his Spirit’s strength.
This Sunday 6pm – Open to Questions – ‘COVID-19: The virus, our struggles, our hopes, and the new normal’ with Professor David Harper and Dr Mark Pickering. All welcome and do invite friends, too. Watch via our YouTube channel and text your questions on the night.
