Weekend Away – 7-9th Oct 2022

Join us on our Weekend Away 7-9th Oct 2022

A great opportunity to take time out of busy London life to hear more from God’s Word and get to know one another better.

As a church family it is really important for us to spend time together as we seek to live out our Christian faith as a community. For October 7-9th 2022, we have booked the wonderful High Leigh Conference Centre again and exciting plans are now coming together for our weekend away.

The weekend will include:

Guest speaker

We will be joined by guest speaker Efrem Buckle, the Director of Training and Mentoring at London City Mission. Efrem first joined LCM as a part time Training Manager in 2014, and now in his current  role seeks to serve LCM in strengthening impact and increasing the reach of LCM’s quality training provision.

Efrem is very much looking forward to joining our St John’s family for the weekend away to lead us in our sessions; ‘Speak Out’. Efrem will be helping us think through how we can be better equipped in sharing the gospel in our everyday lives. In his talks Efrem will share examples from his work with LCM of lives transformed by the gospel.

Romans 10:14

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
