Talks at St. John’s

Richard Godden - July 29, 2018

Submiting To Each Other In Christ

Ephesians 6:1-9 1. If you have children who are not grown up, do you seek to “bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (v.2)? What more do you need to do in relation to this? 2. Do you perform your day to day work, paid or unpaid, “as to the Lord” (i.e. as part of your service of God, v.7)? Why or why not? Should you change the way in which you regard your work? 3. Do you allow the bible to challenge your way of thinking even when what it is saying runs counter to the culture of the day? How can you ensure that you are following God’s will rather than “the crowd”?
