Bereavement Support

Are you someone who has recently been bereaved or someone who is still grieving the loss of a loved one ?

You may feel that you have no one to talk to or you may feel that if you talk about your grief to family members, you could be overburdening them as they may still be grieving themselves.

Sometimes it can be helpful to talk to someone who will listen without judging you, and who will support you as you express your grief and the struggle you may be having with living without your loved one.

If you feel this would be helpful to you, please contact us at St John’s.

Annual Service of Remembrance

Every year in May we hold a Service of Remembrance. This service gives us an opportunity to gather with all the families who have been bereaved over the past year, we give thanks for those who have died and pray for each other in our loss. The service is held at St. John’s and followed by a light tea and refreshments. If you would like us to remember a loved one by name during this service please contact us with details and come and join us at the next service which will be a Sunday in May 2012.
