About Us

St John’s is an Evangelical Anglican Church which has a commitment to serve its local community and work in partnership with others across London. Many of our church members don’t live in Blackheath and most spend their daily lives in places and with people right across the city.

We see our Sunday services and various groups as places that can resource and encourage people to live as Christians wherever they are. We enjoy good relationships with local churches:  Anglican, Baptist, House Church, Roman Catholic and Methodist and seek to work in unity with other Christians wherever possible.

We begin our church year at the end of January with a meal together [STEP Supper] and Vision Sunday. Please take a look at the following letter which was given to church members to explain the vision and direction for 2010.
