St John’s Internationals Group
Are you from overseas?
If so, we want to welcome you to St John’s and to our programme of events for internationals. We are a Christian group seeking to offer friendship and hospitality to people new to the UK. We organise social events as well as events for people wanting to find out about the Christian faith.
Events
You are very welcome to attend the events and activities that are planned each term.
This term we have had an Indonesian Evening, a day trip to Canterbury followed by Fish and Chips in Whitstable, a Yorkshire Evening and Supper at Sue and Andy’s home.
There are 2 bible studies at Sue and Andy’s home during the second half of July and a weekend away for those wanting to explore the Christian Faith more. Please contact Elizabeth below for more details.
There is also a Chinese bi-lingual Bible Study group that meets alternate Sunday evenings.

Home group
Internationals home group meets every month on the second and fourth Sunday starting with lunch at 1pm. We study the bible have discussion and prayer. This group is for those new to the Christian faith or thinking about becoming a Christian. We finish at 4pm with tea – and often scones or cake!
