Blackheath Bluecoat School
Blackheath Bluecoat School (BBCS) is a voluntary aided Church of England School for boys and girls. The school is situated on the edge of our parish on the Old Dover Road. It has a distinctive Christian ethos providing a stable and secure learning environment for all pupils, nurturing them with a Christian framework and supporting them as members of our Christian community.

The vicar of St. John’s is a member of the school’s governing body and the church supports the school through prayer and involvement.
Students from Blackheath Bluecoat visit St. John’s on a regular basis for special services and events throughout the year.
We are seeking ways of being more involved in the chaplaincy and pastoral sides of the school life and if you would like to be part of this please contact Peter Farley-Moore or Colin Cliff.
For further details about the school please visit the Blackheath Bluecoat School website.
